On 7 May, while walking around Peaks at about 6:20 p.m., I noticed a large number of gulls congregated offshore in Hussey Sound, north of Whaleback. Through binoculars, I saw that it was a larger group than I had first thought, spread northwestward past Spar Cove, about 250 birds in all.
