These bird lists are listed sequentially - the most recent one on top.

Michael's and Sam's individual lists are submitted to Cornell Lab of Ornithology eBird.

By providing these lists, we hope you will compare birds seen within each month for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Checklist Comments:  50F, wind 5-10 kn S, low tide, sun then mostly overcast.  Seashore Ave to Battery Steele, around Battery Steele, then Florida Ave to Brackett Ave to Seashore to Spar Cove.

Barrow's Goldeneye (Bucephala islandica)  2     2 female goldeneyes seen; one with a male BAGO, one with a male COGO.  The female with the BAGO male had a noticeably yellow-orange beak compared with the female with the male COGO.

American Woodcock (Scolopax minor)  2    2-3 heard at slightly different times, locations.  Not sure if 2 may have been same bird. 2 made buzzing calls, one made breeding display call; between 19:15-19:25.
Common Loon (Gavia immer)  6               Off Spar Cove.  There were probably more, but darkness hindered a good count.
