The PILP Annual Meeting at Battery Steele on July 23 was a success! The weather was perfect, the bugs left us alone, there was a crowd of 70 plus community members, the food was delicious, the music was great and the feeling of comraderie with our neighbors in a special place on Peaks Island made for a memorable evening all around! Our guest speaker and newest PILP Board member Ann Kearsley spoke on a fascinating topic "Rights of Nature" and kept us all intrigued even without a microphone!
